- The Kum Automatic AS2 is a specialty pencil sharpener that produces long sharp points.
- The sharpener is designed for 8mm diameter pencils, and is fitted with a container to store waste shavings. It includes two (2) spare blades.
- The pencil is sharpened in two (2) separate steps using the corresponding two (2) sharpener holes.
- Step 1: Hole “1” is used to shave off the outer wooden part of the pencil. Sharpen the pencil in hole “1” until it stops by reaching the sharpener's stopper.
- Step 2: Hole “2” is used to sharpen the inner pencil lead. Sharpen the pencil in hole “2” until it stops by reaching the sharpener's stopper.
