1. This promo is free to join. No purchase is required. Participation is exclusively open to registered Laking National members. Customers who are not yet Laking National members must first register for free at www.lakingnational.com before submitting an entry.
2. To participate, customers must submit a handwritten letter addressed to National Book Store in response to the prompt: “Ngayong Pasko, ano ang pinakahihiling ng puso mo at bakit?”
3. The letter must comply with the following requirements:
a. Must be handwritten. Typed, printed, or digitally written entries shall be disqualified.
b. Must be written on letter-size, A4 paper and entry form.
4. The letter must clearly indicate the following:
a. Complete Name
b. Email Address
c. Home Address
d. Contact Number
e. Laking National Account Number
f. Signature
5. Customers may submit multiple letters. However, a customer may win only once for the promo period across all participating branches.
6. All entries must be dropped in the official Dear National drop box located at participating branches.
7. The deadline for submission of entries is December 31, 2026, at 10:00 PM or upon the participating branch’s closing time, whichever is earlier. Entries submitted after the applicable deadline shall not be accepted.
8. The raffle draw shall be conducted on January 14, 2027, at the National Book Store Raffle Draw Hub Branches (as listed in Annex A), in the presence of a DTI representative, either physically or virtually, in accordance with DTI guidelines.
9. Each participating branch shall have one (1) winner. Total of 254 Winners.
10. Winners may select one (1) prize of their choice, subject to the following conditions:
*The selected item must have an SRP not exceeding ₱2,000.
*The selected item must be available for sale at the National Book Store branch for which the winner was drawn and where the prize will be claimed.
*Eligible prizes may include local or imported books from categories such as Fiction, Young Adult, Children’s Books, Manga, Lifestyle, Non-Fiction, and Textbooks, as well as non-book items such as school supplies, office supplies, art materials, stationery, and similar products.
*Books or non-book items with an SRP exceeding ₱2,000, box sets, complete series, bundled collections, and magazines are not eligible as prizes.

11. Winners will be notified through email and registered mail. The official notification shall serve as proof that the customer has won.

12. Winners must claim their prizes at the National Book Store branch for which they were drawn as winners. They must present a valid government-issued ID, the official notification, and any other documents required by NBS.

13. All prizes are transferable once, but cannot be converted to cash or goods of any kind. The prizes may be transferred once to the winner’s nominated recipient who can satisfy the requirements for the claiming of the prize.

14. Prizes not claimed within sixty (60) days from the winner’s receipt of the official notification shall be forfeited in favor of National Book Store, subject to prior approval from DTI.

15. For documentation and publicity purposes, winners agree to have their photographs taken during the awarding of prizes and authorize National Book Store to announce their names and publish their photographs on its social media accounts, in press releases, and through other appropriate promotional materials.

16. National Book Store (“NBS”) respects your fundamental right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal data. By joining the Dear National | Santa Edition Promo, participants acknowledge and agree to the collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NBS’ Privacy Policy.

17. Employees of National Book Store, Inc., and its affiliates, subsidiaries, accredited advertising agencies, suppliers, and their families up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating in the promo.
