BOOK BUYER

The Book Buyer will be responsible for providing the appropriate merchandise corresponding to the needs of the market in order to maximize profit sales. She will ensure availability of new and in demand merchandise at the most cost-efficient time. She will also analyze consumer buying patterns and predicts future trends through continuous research.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree, preferably Business related courses.
• With 2- 5 years of buying experience.
• Strong analytical skills and forecasting ability (quantitative and qualitative).
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Capable of creating and analyzing statistical and financial reports related to merchandise issues.
• Has great interest in reading books.

SAP WM FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

The primary responsibility for the position is to support the production systems for various SAP functional areas under Warehouse Management (WM). This includes daily support of the production applications in addition to executing all phases of project methodology to support business requirements. This consists of participation in requirements definition, system/program design, development, testing, and implementation. Development and configuration will be primarily using SAP ABAP and configuration. Knowledge of the following modules is a plus for integration with WM: MM, SD, FICO.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System, Computer Science/Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or any business-related courses.
• At least 1 year of experience in SAP WM Modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting
• Skills in SAP WM, MM, SD and FICO
• HANA Knowledge preferred

SAP BW FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

The SAP BW Functional Analyst in the ICT Department's SAP Competency Center is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration and support of SAP BW reporting environment and its interfaces in order to meet the business needs of National Book Store's group of companies.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Management Information System, Computer Science/Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or any business-related courses.
• 3 years of experience in SAP BW/BI required
• Must have an excellent knowledge of various tools such as: SAP Business Objects, SAP Lumira, Other BI Solutions (Web Intelligence, Explorer, Xcelcius, Crystal Reports), and SAP Business Objects Information Management tools (EPM, Data Services, etc.)
• SAP IS-Retail/Retail Industry experience preferred.
• SAP business intelligence and analytics consulting experience is an advantage
• Has clear understanding of SDLC through the DEV, QA and PROD environments

PROCUREMENT BUYER (Non-Trade)

The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for providing the appropriate supplies and equipments corresponding to the needs of the Head Office and Branches nationwide. He/she will also ensure availability of supplies and equipments to meet the demands at the most cost-efficient time.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree, preferably Business related courses.
• With 2- 5 years of experience and able to work independently in a year as a buyer.
• Strong analytical skills and forecasting ability (quantitative and qualitative).
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

The Merchandising Assistant is responsible for the daily paperwork needed by the Merchandising Department. She will update all data into the network system. She will be asked to do fieldwork to verify items and activities of competitors in NBS branches including merchandising problems and inquiries. She will also regularly encoder Purchase Orders (P.O.) based on branch requests, allocation, booking, and Back-to-School volume orders with the supervision of the Buyer.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree, preferably Business Management.
• With less than 2 years of related experience, job specific knowledge can be learned in months.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE for WorkStation

The Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining customers for the business. The main purpose of the job is selling and meeting the needs of customers. The work involves pursuing new clients, assisting in setting up meetings, trying to reach contract deals with them as the Account Manager travels frequently, visiting and meeting with current customers and prospective clients.He/She will also handle book fair or exhibits as part of promotion and selling.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, other or any field.
• With good negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer Literate (MS Word/MS Excel)
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.

GENERAL LEDGER ANALYST

The General Ledger Analyst willdevelop, implement, monitor and review departmental policies, procedures and processes. He/She will verify supporting documents for validity, accuracy and completeness, and capture the payments and/or receipts in SAP. He/She will also perform accounts reconciliations (including bank, clearing and intercompany accounts) and other functions that be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance and/or Accountancy.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

FLEET MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

The Fleet Management Assistant is responsible for monitoring and providing fleet to support daily transport operations and requirements.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree preferably Supply Chain related courses.
• Has at least 1 year experience in Fleet or Transport Management
• Detail-oriented

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS (Process and Control Analyst)

The Process and Control Analyst will support the Purchasing Group in process planning, formulation, and implementation of purchasing policies guidelines and procedure in accordance with the SAP System. He will conduct process audit both internal and external to SAP System andmonitor and evaluate category performance and productivity.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Has at least 1 year experience in retail planning.
• Fresh graduates are also open to apply.

DATA ANALYST

Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Economics.
• Has at least 1 year experience in data analytics.
• Proficient in MS Office Excel
• Analytical with good judgment and problem solving skills.

TRAINING ASSISTANT

The Training Assistant carries out training programs to ensure that all operations and support group will be given equal opportunities for training and promotion. She is responsible for researches and studies related to personnel management, organization development, and the administration of programs that pertains to the over-all development of an employee. She will assist in the conceptualization, design, coordination, preparation, facilitation and evaluation of a program pertaining to organizational development.

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for responding to customers' requests and inquiries via phone, email or social networks. She will process fax orders, orders through the NBS Website and social networks, institutional orders, including processing of credit card or cash payment and arranging for delivery. She will also help the Stores and Corporate Sales team in sourcing stocks for their customers/clients.
